Find us at the Farmers Market

Magic Beans coffee is now available at the downtown Lexington Farmers Market on Saturdays in Cheapside, and Sundays on Southland Drive.

Coffee is made on the farm

Every coffee bean comes from a specific place. Much of its flavor comes from the soil, water, and weather of its origin. Our responsibility as roasters is to preserve the quality and unique characteristics of each coffee we present. Our guiding philosophy is “Respect the bean.” Read more about our approach to coffee here.

We’re growing, one batch at a time

Two guys, a roasting machine, and a plan. Read what the Lexington Herald-Leader’s Tom Eblen had to say about us in Business Monday on April 8, 2013.

This month’s featured coffee

Each month, Magic Beans features a different single-origin coffee. We look for singular coffees that offer exceptional value in the cup. Toward that end, we purchase new-crop coffees year-round, to maintain variety and to present each of our coffees at its freshest. Read all about our current featured offering here.

We’re different, and so is our roaster

Magic Beans uses a Sivetz fluid-bed roaster, which roasts every bean evenly, to a specific temperature, using a blast of clean, superheated air. This produces a cleaner, more aromatic cup than drum roasted coffee. Read more about our roasting process here.
